Optimized in-memory IBOR architecture in a cloud environment using Apache Ignite

IBOR is a single source of truth for all investment holdings information, providing consistent, timely, and accurate position and exposure information that helps the front office make investment decisions. The IBOR provides both current and historical operational investment data and is used by many financial firms both in middle office and front office. IBOR is a perfect use case which combines both operational and analytical workloads (aka hybrid transaction/analytical processing (HTAP)). We have leveraged GridGain In-memory computing platform at Wellington in order to implement HTAP architecture in IBOR. We would like to share some key features available in Apache Ignite and how did we leverage those features to implement IBOR architecture.

Rafique has been with Wellington since 2003 and his team is mainly responsible to provide advanced investment data solutions. He has more than 20 years of experience in IT as manager, architect, designer and developer. Rafique earned a Master Degree in Computer Science from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad.
